Full-Time Educated Nanny in Newport Beach, CA

Family Syllabus: This sweet family of four in Newport Beach, California is looking for a full-time nanny/ family assistant. The children attend a nearby school from 8 am-3 pm. They have two boys ages 4 and 6 years old! One of their boys has high-functioning autism and is extremely intelligent. The boys enjoy soccer, tae kwon do, and swimming. Their 6-year-old is very artistic and loves Legos. The 4-year-old is very energetic, and athletic and loves to be outside playing sports. Mom and Dad both work from inside of the home.

Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is positive, experienced, and is ready to be active and loving with these inquisitive children! Their dream candidate is someone who can keep up with their playful and energetic children. They’d love for you to utilize positive discipline, helping manage feelings, and redirection, and be an extension of mom and dad while they are working. They would love someone who has a background in early childhood education and can help educate their very intelligent boys and support their household philosophy. A nanny who has experience with autism and has a background in ABA would be a huge plus for this family. This family is looking for a nanny who enjoys preparing healthy snacks and meals for their children! The family would like a nanny who is able to track when groceries are needed, unloading groceries and deliveries, making sure house rules and diet guidelines are enforced, and keeping the kids on a clear eating and sleeping schedule. They are looking for someone who is open to traveling with them a few times a year. A bachelor’s degree is required for this position.

Job Synopsis: This active and intelligent family would love a nanny who is excited to assist the family. Duties included in this position will include picking the children up from school, preparing healthy lunches for school, laundry for the children, organizing and tidying the children’s rooms and play areas, occasional household errands, and assisting the children with school projects and homework. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 12:30 am- 8:30 pm. This role is paying $35-45/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. The family would also like someone excited and available to work occasional date nights, overnights, and travel with the family. A nanny vehicle will be provided for the nanny to use during working hours.
