• Location: Marquez Knolls – Pacific Palisades, CA
• Ages of children: 2 months old
• Start date/ Contract Length: As soon as they find the right fit! The family is hopeful to find someone who can commit to a one-year contract.
• Schedule:  Full-time, guaranteeing 45-55 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 7:00pm. Candidates can anticipate working 9-11 hours per day.
• Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 45-55-hour/week schedule, which equates to a projected annualized base compensation of $99-146k/year range. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out.

• This warm and outdoor-loving family of three is seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to join them in caring for their child! These first-time parents have recently welcomed their baby and are filled with joy as they embrace this exciting new chapter. At 2 months old, the family describes their daughter as being curious and the light of their lives. The family fosters a quiet and family-oriented environment and prioritizes having relaxing energy in their home. Someone who can engage with their child to cultivate her curiosity as she grows and develops will be essential!
• Both parents work full-time and live a dynamic lifestyle. One parent works from home in a dedicated office while the other travels often for work. They are avid skiers and enjoy the mountains and the outdoors. Despite their demanding schedules, their top priority remains their daughter’s wellbeing and spending quality time together. They have a second residence in Florida and a family home in Utah that they enjoy visiting. They also travel for work and take vacations, including a ski trip to Park City and family trips to Memphis. Someone adaptable and travel-ready who can provide focused and attentive infant care while traveling with the family for up to 6-12 weeks throughout the year is key! The family employs a housekeeper, and a candidate who is collaborative and works harmoniously with the family and other household staff will be a great fit.

Ideal Candidate:

• This position is ideal for someone who has a warm, adaptable, and nurturing presence in caring for a lively, curious baby! These first-time parents would love to work with a candidate who is an extension of their family and can gently offer their experience and expertise while also being receptive to the family’s preferences. A candidate who brings a calm and grounded approach to each day, engaging the child through enriching and age-appropriate activities and allowing her to explore in a stimulating and learning-focused environment, will be key. Confidence in working alongside parents is essential! A nanny who is naturally organized and experienced in infant care, especially their developmental milestones, will be highly valued.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, supporting healthy sleep habits, diapering, child-related household tasks including prepping and sanitizing bottles, baby’s laundry, tidying, meal prep, organizing of child’s areas, occasional errands, coordinating activities, traveling with the family throughout the year, and generally bringing a supportive, all-hands-on-deck attitude to each day.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to meet a candidate who is open to occasionally supporting full-family meal preparation or holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher!

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for infants
• Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
• Experience traveling with families and children
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19
