What They’re Looking for in a Nanny

The family is looking for a reliable, caring nanny who brings both experience with newborns and a deep sense of professionalism. They value consistency and need someone who can read the room, sensing when mom could use an extra hand during her maternity leave and when it’s best to step back, allowing mom and baby to enjoy their time together while the nanny assists with tasks like washing bottles.

The ideal fit would be a nanny with a great sense of humor who enjoys having fun and laughing with the kids. Mom is easygoing and would love someone with a similar personality, as they’ll be spending the first few months together during her maternity leave. The nanny should be proactive and an observant self-starter, able to recognize when something needs to be done and handle it without needing direction. Consideration and safety minded are also essential qualities for this role.
