A fun-loving, warm and active family is seeking a highly organized, discreet, and experienced UHNW Family Assistant to join their team. They are looking for someone who is young at heart, playful and will foster creativity. This role requires a proactive, flexible individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include childcare for their two children, ages 5 and 8 years old, cooking and light housekeeping, children’s laundry, and some assistance with booking travel, calendar management, scheduling vendors, and researching/booking activities and/or tutors for the children.
Flexibility is important as the schedule could potentially change or they may need someone to stay later in the evenings or work weekends if the principal is working late. Additionally they are looking for someone who has availability to travel (usually once a quarter, international and domestic).
The best person for them is energetic and engaging with a fun-seeking approach to childcare, discrete and trustworthy, as well as proactive and adaptable.
The schedule is as follows, but again flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes is important:
- Sunday 8am-8pm
- Monday 7am-8pm
- Tuesday 7am-8pm
- Wednesday 7am-12pm
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a high-level family assistant, preferably with UHNW families.

- All vaccines up to date including COVID-vaccinated and boosted, MMR, TB, Tdap
- CPR Certified
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (family can provide household vehicle for work-related driving)
- Energetic, engaging and fun-seeking approach to childcare
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (family typically travels once per quarter)

Responsibilities
- Active Childcare:
○ Care of school age children (5,8)
○ Transport to/from school and activities
○ Help watch when sick or on weekends (flexibility is key)
○ Children’s laundry
○ Occasionally travel with family
- Cooking and Light Housekeeping:
○ Grocery shopping
○ Food prep/cooking for the family (simple healthy meals)
○ Cleaning up / tidying (there is also a cleaner 3x per week)
○ Take out trash when cleaners not in
○ Various needs as requested
- Personal Assistance:
○ Manage complex personal schedules, including hair and doctor appointments, travel arrangements, and social events.
○ Handle personal errands and tasks, such as shopping, gift procurement, dry cleaning
○ Booking and reservations for kids camps, tutors
○ Finding tutors, sports coach, etc.
- Travel Planning:
○ Arrange domestic and international travel, including booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
○ Obtain visas and other necessary travel documents.
- Property Management:
○ Occasionally meet vendors onsite to let them on property
○ Maintain the care of automobiles including scheduling regular service.
- Confidential Matters:
○ Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
○ Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
