Atherton Family of 4 Seeks Full Time Family Assistant

Our wonderful clients are seeking a family assistant to join their team. The children are 9 and 11 year old girls and are home schooled. The position is 80% family assistant duties and 20% childcare which includes babysitting on date nights and driving girls to activities as needed.

This role requires someone who can look for and finds efficiencies, wants opportunities to grow and help the family more (highly motivated), can anticipate what they need after becoming acquainted, possesses high attention to detail, ability to work independently and to prepare, anticipate, and switch gears, with a service mindset, feels comfortable around a dog, and has reliable access to a car for driving.

 

Schedule:

* Processing online returns and printing shipping labels

* Scheduling online dry cleaning pickups

* Online ordering of household supplies (via Amazon or other)

 

Family assistance

* Repackaging, dropping return packages, and making in-person returns

* Shopping for household supplies and light groceries

* Miscellaneous errands

* Assisting with holiday decorating

* Dog walking

* Willingness to help with light duty housekeeping (e.g., loading and unloading dishwasher)

* Dog sitting (bonus if she can do this!)

* Driving cars in for service (bonus if she can do this!)

 

Childcare

* Preparing children’s afternoon activities (e.g., packing athletic bags, preparing water bottles, loading cars)

* Preparing simple meals for children as needed

* Driving children to afternoon activities as needed

* Date night babysitting weekly
