• Location: Laguna Beach, California
• Ages of children: 2.5 years old. The family is welcoming a baby in March 2025, but the role will primarily focus on their toddler.
• Contract dates: ~6-month contract with the option to extend long-term. The contract will begin mid-February and go through July or August 2025, with the option to extend long-term for a great fit. While this is a short-term role, the family is open to meeting candidates who have an exclusive interest in long-term opportunities.
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 45 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm or similar. Flexibility for occasional date nights, weekends, and travel will be essential!
• Compensation: The family is offering $40-50/hour based on the 45-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $98-124k. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience, and welcome any candidate who feels they would be an exceptional fit to apply!
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Flexible to live in or live out. If live-in private bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor with a courtyard and individual entrance will be provided.

• This relaxed and spontaneous CA-based family is seeking an engaging and nurturing nanny to join them in caring for their children! Their son, who is 2.5 years old, currently attends preschool three days a week. The family is also looking forward to welcoming their second child this March! They are excited to work with a candidate who can foster their children’s growth and development through interactive and enriching activities.
• Nestled between Newport and Laguna Beach, the family lives steps from the ocean and enjoys activities that are a short walk or trolley ride away. One parent works hybrid, coming to and from the office, and the other works from home in a set-apart office. They will value a collaborative candidate who is comfortable working alongside the parents and other household staff, including a chef.

• This position is ideal for someone who is warm, engaging, and loves the toddler years! A candidate who is excited to chat and play with a toddler will be a great fit for this family. Someone who can come up with interesting activities and bring a proactive, fun-loving approach to each day will be appreciated. The family values someone who promotes a development-focused mindset in their role, understanding their child’s needs and developmental milestones.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers
• Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
