An active and close-knit family residing in Gates Mills, OH is on the lookout for a well-rounded, flexible, and reliable nanny/household manager to care for their delightful 4-month-old daughter.

Their daughter is thriving in her early milestones, practicing tummy time, and beginning to roll over with excitement. She loves being sung to, enjoys storytime and walks are a favorite activity. She is both bottle-fed and breastfed.

Mom and Dad are first-time parents who cherish spending time with their family and friends and enjoy outdoor activities. With two small dachshunds in the household, a pet-friendly caregiver comfortable letting the dogs out during the day is a must. The family takes quick weekend trips to sunny Florida and may invite their nanny to accompany them occasionally. 

Their ideal candidate is safety-conscious, confident in their infant caregiving abilities, and brings a calm, laid-back demeanor. They’re looking for someone ready to jump in and assist wherever needed while fostering a warm and engaging environment for their daughter. A candidate who genuinely loves working with children and enjoys stimulating activities like reading and singing will be a perfect fit. The perfect candidate will be a logical thinker with excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities with ease.

This individual’s responsibilities will include all child-related tasks including providing reliable care, preparing and sterilizing bottles, doing baby laundry, keeping the nursery clean and organized, and keeping a detailed journal of the baby's eating, sleeping, and diapering habits. In addition to all child-related tasks, candidates will also be responsible for housework including general home organization, keeping spaces tidy and organized (without deep cleaning), errands, managing household inventory, grocery shopping and stocking, meal preparation, managing/coordinating the family calendar, and laundry. 

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Experience working with infants
• High school diploma
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Clean driving record
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to travel with family
• Up to date on vaccinations

Schedule

Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week falling on Monday through Friday. Candidates can choose to work from 10 to 2 or from 9 to 1 on Monday and will work Tuesday to Friday from 8 to 5

Compensation

The family is offering $35-$40/hour based upon 40 hours per week which equates to $1,400- $1,600/week, and an anticipated annual base income of $72k- $83k/year. This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law. 

Benefits

The family is open to providing a $200 monthly healthcare stipend, 10 days of paid vacation, 3 paid sick days, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.
