Family Syllabus:   A vibrant family of five is seeking a loving and caring individual to join their family as a Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant. This role requires someone who prioritizes the safety and well-being of their children above all else. While caring for the children, your primary focus should be on them, minimizing distractions from phones or screens. The family has 3 energetic boys ages 3, 5, and 8. The boys have a wonderful bond and truly enjoy engaging with each other. Their oldest son is happy, intelligent, and loves to read. Their middle son is very artistic. He loves music, puzzles, and figuring things out. Their youngest son is great at going with the flow. He is great at sharing and looks up to his brothers. The two older boys currently attend school 8 am – 3 pm Monday through Friday and their youngest attends school 9 am – 3 pm Monday through Thursday and 9 am – 12 pm on Fridays.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have prior experience caring for multiple children and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. Excellent English proficiency is essential. The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely reliable and responsible, with a proven track record of punctuality and a commitment to their responsibilities. This position requires consistent kindness and firmness. You should be someone the children both care about and respect. A nanny who can provide a safe and nurturing environment while maintaining appropriate boundaries will be the perfect fit. Strong communication skills with both children and parents are crucial, fostering an atmosphere of kindness, transparency, and honesty.

The nanny will need the ability to navigate the city using public transportation or ride-sharing services. A nanny who is proactive and attentive to detail, and who is able to plan engaging activities for the children, schedule playdates, and take initiative in various aspects of their family life will be essential. The ideal candidate will be able to organize closets, changing out clothing for each season, and making sure the family has what is needed. A nanny who loves to cook and is excellent at meal prep for the entire family would be a true gift. A nanny who is a team player and is comfortable working collaboratively with other members of their support network, including housekeepers, babysitters, and grandparents is a must.

Job Synopsis:  This role will involve light household duties, such as meal preparation for the children and assistance with meal prep or cooking for the parents. During downtime when the children are at school, you will be responsible for additional tasks such as laundry, organizing, light cleaning, maintaining the family calendar, and running errands for the family. This is a live-out position. The schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday 8 am- 6 pm with the flexibility to come in earlier and stay later.  The rate for this role is $40-45/hour gross plus overtime with benefits such as paid health insurance, paid time off, holidays, and sick days. Travel will be open for discussion but is not a requirement for this role.

Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is up to date on the standard immunizations and the seasonal FLU vaccines.

Roll Call: This amazing position starts in mid-March 2025.

Qualifications:

Five years of professional nanny experience

CPR/first aid certification

Excellent references

Comfortable with Local Transportation Systems
