Description:

A nurturing and warm family in Vienna, Virginia is seeking a flexible and honest nanny + household manager to care for their soon-to-be 7-year-old, 2-year-old, and newborn arriving in June.

Their eldest son is a lively and social adventurer who thrives outdoors. He enjoys karate, swimming, riding his Jeep and tractor, attending Ninja class, and playing basketball and tennis. He is currently enrolled in school, in first grade.

Their 2-year-old son is playful, energetic, and always on the move. He loves going for walks, exploring playgrounds, and has a big fascination with dinosaurs and farm animals. He currently attends a half-day program.

This returning Pink Nannies family is seeking a live-in nanny to join their current part-time Pink Nanny. Mom is a stay-at-home parent, deeply invested in family life, while Dad is a dynamic entrepreneur who values genuine, sincere-minded individuals. They are hands-on parents who lead by example, cherish independent thinking, and encourage strong conflict-resolution skills in their children.

This health-conscious family is looking for an energetic, independent nanny who is attuned to their household dynamic. The ideal candidate has prior live-in experience and can seamlessly step in and out based on the family's needs. With highly active children, they need someone who can match their energy and engage them through fun, educational activities, and exciting day adventures.

The right candidate should be comfortable preparing organic, healthy meals for the children and possess the ability to care for multiple children at once, catering to their different needs. A proactive and adaptable approach is essential—someone who values clear, open communication and naturally takes initiative with household tasks such as tidying the kitchen, putting away toys, and managing other daily responsibilities.

Privacy is highly valued in this household. While the nanny will have her own private living space (a bedroom with a walk-in closet and bathroom), the family seeks someone who respects and understands boundaries, is able to operate independently, and understands when to engage and when to give space. They also travel domestically and internationally and invite their nanny to join them on their trips.

This individual’s responsibilities will include fostering creativity and growth through interactive play, storytime, sensory activities, and planning engaging outdoor adventures. They will also be responsible for all child-related tasks, including organizing age-appropriate activities, providing transportation from school, preparing healthy meals and snacks, and managing the child’s laundry. Additionally, candidates will assist with household tasks such as grocery shopping, stocking essentials, refueling the car, meal prep, managing household inventory, and running errands. A proactive approach is essential anticipating needs and stepping in seamlessly.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Experience as a live-in nanny, household manager, or family assistant

  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Ability to travel with the family

The position is full-time guaranteed 40 hours per week. The general schedule will fall on Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 11 am and from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
