Full-Time Nanny
Job Summary
This adventurous family travels year-round and is seeking a dedicated nanny to accompany them on their journeys. Currently in Colorado, they have upcoming travels to London, California, India, and various other destinations throughout the year. The primary focus of this role is childcare, but flexibility is essential, as the nanny will be away from home for the majority of the year. The ideal candidate is highly experienced with newborns, an excellent communicator, and fully present—staying off their phone during work hours. Prior experience traveling with families, including international travel, is a bonus. Home base is Dallas, Texas, so the nanny is not required to live-in with them when they are in Dallas. However, the nanny will live with them while traveling. There are no pets in the home.
Responsibilities
- Engage child in age-appropriate activities to encourage intellectual development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the child
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the child
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of children's play areas
- Follow parents' guidelines for child behavior and discipline
- Be flexible as the hours may change each week with short notice
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in previous nanny roles where you were traveling and living with the family
- Knowledge of first aid procedures for children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize children's needs effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Ability to stay off your phone and actively engage with children
- Prior experience with international travel, as well as an up-to-date passport
- Strong communicator and organized personality
- Willing to be away from home 80% of the time
- Long-term role, so must be looking to become a part of the family and will be treated like family
- If the nanny loves to cook, this would be a huge bonus

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
