Full-Time Travel Ready Nanny in Laguna Niguel, CA

Family Syllabus: This sweet family of four in Laguna Niguel, California is looking for an active nanny ready to travel with their family. The children attend a nearby school from 8 am-3:30 pm. They have a 6 ½-year-old son who is sweet, active, loves arts and crafts, and riding bikes! He would thrive with a nanny who can participate in activities with him and keep up with his energy. Their daughter is 3 ½ and super sweet and girly. She loves to be a big helper and also loves all the attention on her. She is active, sporty, and loves to be outside. The family has a housekeeper who comes twice a week, and the mom works from inside the home. Please be comfortable with dogs as they have a tiny 10lb Bichon Poodle.

Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is kind, experienced, and is ready to be active and loving with these inquisitive children! Their dream candidate is someone who can keep up with their playful and energetic children. They’d love for you to utilize positive discipline and gentle parenting techniques to support their children and be an extension of mom and dad while they are away. They are a family who does not do time-outs but would like the nanny to redirect the children and give them healthy boundaries. This family is looking for a nanny who enjoys preparing healthy school lunches for their children! They are looking for someone who is open to traveling with them. The children love going to the beach club, so a nanny who can swim is a must! They would like a nanny comfortable with being trained to use an Epipen as their daughter may have a bee allergy.

Job Synopsis: This sweet family would love a nanny who is excited to work a flexible schedule which includes some split shifts! Duties included in this position will be driving the children to school, preparing healthy lunches for school, tidying up after the children, light laundry for the children, letting their sweet pup outside, and filling the food bowl in the mornings. The schedule for this position is flexible. Some shifts will be Monday through Friday from 6:30 am- 10:30 am and 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm, with one Saturday a month for 8 hours. This role pays $40/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a medical stipend. The family would also like someone excited and available to work occasional date nights and overnights and travel with the family 2-3 weeks out of the year. A nanny vehicle will be provided to use during working hours. The family is traveling on these dates, please be ready to go with them on March 26-April 5 (Canada & London), Europe June 1 – July 12, and Italy at the end of July into August.
