ROTA Caregiver

A loving family is seeking two experienced ROTA caregivers to provide support for their 17-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and experienced in special needs care, ensuring a clean, safe, and structured environment.

Schedule:
ROTA Schedule, 7 days on/7 days off; year round
12-hour care with flexibility based on parents schedule. Overnights and 24/7 care will be required when parents are traveling
The family does travel approximately 5 – 6 months of the year, so travel is required. They have homes in PA, CO, MA, do a lot of travel on their yacht, and will travel to Europe occasionally. Private accommodations are provided in all locations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and specialized care
• Ensure a clean and safe environment (including her laundry, changing bedsheets, tidying/ organizing)
• Assist with bathing and toileting
• Engage in sensory-friendly activities
• Driving to activities
• Cooking meals
• Travel with the family, or stay with child if parents are away

Requirements:

• Experience caring for special needs children (ASD)
• Background in child development, therapy, or special education preferred
• Reliable, organized, and attentive to details
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel as needed

The family has two dogs in the home, a senior German Shepherd and French Bulldog. Feeding, watering, and letting out for the bathroom would be required when Principals are away.
