Description:

An active and affectionate family is seeking a flexible nanny to care for their adorable 6-year-old son, 3-year-old daughter, along with their dog and cat.

Their oldest child is charismatic and fun. He enjoys bike rides, soccer, and playing outside. He’s all energy throughout the day, and can often be found playing make-believe, swimming, building with Legos, and even digging in the garden! He’s a very attentive and loving older brother who patiently plays with his little sister. He’s a really focused little guy, you can see it in how much he loves quiet activities like reading books or doing puzzles. He’s super determined and bright, and right now he’s all about learning to read and write. He loves diving into little projects and sticking with them until they’re finished. He also keeps busy with soccer practice and violin lessons once a week!

Their loving 3-year-old daughter is a bundle of joy! Her mind bursts with imagination, especially when playing make believe, dressing up, or playing with her dolls! Her energetic personality shines the brightest in outdoor adventures, whether it is riding her scooter or bike, swimming in the pool, or attending Little Gym. She’s a loving and happy child who also enjoys activities like ballet class, chalk drawing and various arts and crafts. Both kids attend an early education school, and Mom and Dad plan to continue their enrollment. During the summer, they participate in camps and swim lessons.

This exciting role encompasses childcare responsibilities, such as preparing meals and snacks for the children, preparing fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities, and helping with school homework. Other tasks involve driving the kids to and from activities, engaging in active play with the kids, and tidying up after playtime. Additional duties include doing the children’s laundry, minor household tidying and organizing, running errands, and occasionally texting photos throughout the day.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Early Childhood Educational background preferred
• High school diploma
• CPR & First Aid Certified
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Clean driving record
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pet-friendly

Schedule

This role requires scheduling flexibility, as there is no fixed set of hours. A proposed schedule will be provided at least four weeks in advance. Initially, the working hours will be Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Tuesdays from 6:30 AM to 07:00 PM. Candidates should be open to accommodating one weekend date night per month.

Compensation

The family is offering $30-$35/hour based upon 35 hours per week, which equates to up to $1,050-$1225/week, and an anticipated annual base income of $54k+-63k+/year. This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law.
