Summary:
We are seeking a full-time, live-out Family Assistant to provide full support for a household with four children. The ideal candidate will serve as the main go-between for the VIPs and staff/vendors (including chef, housekeeper, and governess), while researching children's activities beyond basic Google searches, transporting children to events, maintaining relationships with teachers, decorating for holidays, coordinating vendors, managing household supplies, and arranging detailed travel itineraries. This role requires embracing the family's educational philosophy, teaching through play and identifying learning opportunities during children's care. We are interested in only highly engaging candidates that understand early childhood development, familiar with redirection methodologies, positive reinforcement and choice strategies. The position also involves helping planning family events, fostering relationships within the social circle and building family culture across continents. Family does travel and interested candidates should have a passport for international travel if ever needed.

Required Skills:
Qualified candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a similar role (nanny, family assistant, personal assistant, or household manager), preferably with formal training in education or child development, eligibility to work in the US, a valid driver's license with clean driving record, and willingness to sign an NDA. The position demands strong organizational and multitasking abilities, a results-oriented mindset, exceptional social networking skills (preferably in the SF Bay Area), a strong service heart with ability to anticipate family needs, and flexibility to adapt to schedules that may change daily or hourly based on evolving family needs. We offer a company car for work-related tasks. Local San Francisco Bay Area candidates are preferred, though relocation is possible for the right candidate who can commit to 1-2 years minimum. The start date is ASAP, and candidates with flexibility to travel domestically and internationally are preferred. Bonus to multi-lingual candidates.
