Full Time Flexible Family Assistant/Nanny

A very cool, entrepreneurial family in San Diego, CA is seeking a creative, intuitive, and forward-thinking Family Assistant/Nanny to support their household and provide exceptional care for their two young children. This position is ideal for someone tech-savvy, highly organized, and experienced in managing both childcare and household tasks. Parents work from home and are seeking a team player who can anticipate needs, take initiative, and help foster a warm, joyful home environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• School drop-offs/pick-ups
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for children
• Organizing enrichment activities (e.g., ballet, swimming, music)
• Implementing positive discipline and daily routines
• Grocery shopping, errands, managing household returns, and organization
• Light tidying, unpacking boxes, breaking down packages
• Occasional overnight or date-night coverage

Candidates must be dog-friendly, as the family has a 100lb blind dog with heart issues. Must also be mindful of shellfish allergies in the home.

Days & Hours:

Tuesday – Saturday, 40 hours guaranteed
Candidates must be flexible with open availability, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel

Required Certifications:

Minimum 5+ years of professional childcare or family assistant experience
Clean driving record
CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

Hourly/Salary:

$35–$45 per hour
