Description:
A nurturing and respectful Mom is seeking a grounded career nanny to join her family and care for their 5-year-old and 9-month-old daughters, and their affectionate Mini Bernedoodle.
Her 5.5-year-old daughter is a wonderful little girl, funny and joyful. She’s an all-things-girly girl who loves to spend her time at home. Full of creativity and imagination, she enjoys playing pretend, drawing, and doing crafts. She's recently shown an interest in language (Spanish at this moment), and Mom would love someone invested in helping her explore these interests. Sensitive and smart, she’s an awesome older sister who loves to spend time with and care for her baby sister. Diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE), which is well-managed with medication, she will thrive with a nanny who is patient, flexible, and creative around meals and mealtime routines. The ideal candidate will also feel confident assisting with medication administration as needed. She’ll be starting kindergarten in the fall and attending a camp during the summer.
Her youngest daughter is a sweet and easygoing baby. Growing more and more every day, she is getting very vocal, learning new sounds and syllables. She loves being silly and making her presence known. She’s a great night sleeper and easily sticks to her sleep routine for nap times during the day as well. Hitting her milestones like a master, she is primarily formula-fed, but also enjoys age-appropriate solid meals twice a day, without allergy restrictions. She loves to spend time playing with her toys and hanging out with her Mom and sister.
As a family, they love to play in the playground, swings are their favorite, feed ducks, and eat ice cream. They also enjoy visiting bookstores, shopping for crafts, and exploring the Botanical Garden. Mom’s parents live in FL, so a nanny who could travel with them would be a great plus.
Mom leads with a gentle, nurturing, and respectful approach, rooted in strong communication and clear boundaries. Her focus is on helping her daughter understand limits through meaningful, consistent conversation rather than consequences, believing that tools like time-outs are effective when paired with communication and reflection. She’s deeply intentional about supporting her daughter’s emotional growth, nurturing her confidence, and fostering a strong sense of self-worth. She’s looking for a nanny who can meet her daughter where she is. Someone confident, emotionally attuned, and able to support and guide her through big feelings with patience, empathy, and zero judgment.
While they have a wonderful nanny at home, she will be going back to school, so this family is seeking someone as warm, loving, and caring as their current nanny. The ideal nanny will be attentive and deeply engaged, prioritizing safety, structure, and emotional well-being. Someone who is loving, present, and fully focused on creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for both children. A love for crafts, books, and interactive play is a must! Honesty and open communication are essential. Their perfect nanny will prioritize making each child feel equally supported and cared for and understand they’re not just meeting daily needs, but helping shape two little hearts and minds. Someone who’s calm, grounded, and mature excels at making informed decisions, willing to commit to this loving family for the long run, as they seek to build a lasting and close relationship with their nanny, will fit perfectly into this role. Someone who is multilingual or comfortable introducing second-language basics would be a wonderful bonus.
In this role, the nanny’s responsibilities will encompass all childcare-related as well as minor home-related tasks. The nanny will be looking after the girls, preparing healthy and yummy meals, while encouraging them to try new foods, planning fun educational age-appropriate activities, and actively engaging in play with them. They will also be responsible for occasionally driving the kids to and from activities, providing sick care if needed, tidying up children's areas, feeding their dog, and sometimes doing the dishes. Additional tasks will include laundering children's clothes, keeping track of household inventory as it relates to childcare and basic household items, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and tidy home.
