Description:

A kind, respectful, and discreet family is seeking a professional full-time nanny to join their household staff and care for their 5-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter. As a returning Pink Nannies client, they deeply value the level of discretion, maturity, and professionalism that Pink Nannies brought into their home, and they’re excited to welcome another long-term caregiver who reflects those same qualities.

Their 5-year-old son is curious, witty, and full of energy. He’s a thoughtful learner who loves science, building, cars, trains, and nature. He thrives outdoors and enjoys sports like soccer, taekwondo, and swimming. His 6-year-old sister is creative, independent, and strong-willed with a kind, imaginative spirit. She loves art, music, pretend play, and stays active with ballet, lacrosse, swimming, and board games. Both children attend Russian Math School and have full after-school schedules, so structure, routine, and attentiveness are key. The ideal nanny will help maintain consistency, stay in sync with both parents and co-staff, and bring a steady, caring presence to the children’s days.

The family lives a structured yet dynamic lifestyle filled with enriching activities and frequent travel. They enjoy quality time together, whether at home with board games or away on a family vacation. Travel is seamlessly integrated into their year, including holiday trips to Hawaii and extended summer stays in Italy for 2–4 weeks. The nanny will rotate travel responsibilities with their co-nanny and always stay in top-tier accommodations. This is not a gentle parenting household; the family values a caregiver who is loving but firm, confident, sets boundaries, and is consistent with age-appropriate consequences. They seek someone who is dependable, communicative, and comfortable navigating both calm days and fast-paced, high-energy moments. Mondays tend to be especially busy, and they appreciate someone who takes initiative and brings a team mindset.

This is a fully staffed household with household managers, housekeepers, and two full-time nannies. The right candidate will be emotionally intelligent, observant, and proactive. Someone who naturally reads the room, knows when to step in, and when to give the family space. Communication and collaboration are essential. The family values a caregiver who can take direction, anticipate needs, and contribute thoughtful feedback. While the parents are hands-on and involved, they’re looking for someone who can confidently lead the day-to-day, support the children through transitions, and create a calm, encouraging environment. A childcare certification or degree in education is strongly preferred.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll create a nurturing space for the children to grow and take ownership of child-related tasks such as preparing meals, packing lunches, keeping their areas tidy, and managing before and after-school routines. You’ll coordinate and handle transportation, maintain clean play areas, and assist with schoolwork and occasional projects. Travel responsibilities will include prepping for trips, organizing children’s belongings, and supporting smooth transitions while away. This is a rotational position, so you’ll work closely with the co-nanny to ensure a consistent and seamless experience for the children.

The family is excited to meet a caregiver who is thoughtful, organized, and fully invested. Someone who thrives in a structured yet loving household and is ready to help make each day feel both intentional and joyful!

Afternoon shifts are Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with flexibility to work later twice per week, if needed. These busy parents travel often, so both nannies will also provide occasional overnight care and full 24/7 coverage approximately five times per year when both parents are away for 4 to 7 days at a time.
