Description:
A bustling family is looking for a seasoned, organized, and efficient household manager to keep their home running smoothly and efficiently. This is a primarily household-focused role, about 90% of the responsibilities center around managing and maintaining the home, with just 10% dedicated to light childcare support.
This active and busy family is always on the go and loves spending time together, whether it's visiting the zoo, dining out, or playing at the park. With baby number two arriving in July, they are entering an exciting new chapter. Mom is very organized with a sharp eye for detail and is already preparing for what is ahead. A nanny and newborn care specialist will be supporting her, while you, in the household manager role, will help keep an eye on the monitor during the baby’s naps and occasionally assist with a diaper change if needed. A professional cleaning team comes weekly, but day-to-day upkeep and household flow will be in your hands. Mom is clear in her expectations and appreciates things done a certain way, but she is also a strong communicator and values people who are proactive, upbeat, and solutions-oriented. She is looking for someone who is positive, pleasant to work with, and takes initiative without being asked.
Mom is a stay-at-home parent who values balance and routine, and Dad works and is home by 5 pm and is equally hands-on and involved. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and bring a warm, positive energy to the home. They are seeking someone who is bubbly, personable, pleasant to be around, and easy to talk to. Strong social awareness and the ability to read a room are essential. The right candidate will know when to step in and step out and when to give the family space, always respecting boundaries while maintaining a warm, professional presence.
This family is seeking a highly organized, supportive, and proactive individual who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate is a natural self-starter with excellent time management skills, someone who is always one step ahead, sees what needs to be done, and takes initiative without waiting to be asked. Experience in household management is a must, along with the ability to follow a digital calendar and complete tasks to the family's preferences. They are looking for someone polished, reliable, efficient, and confident in maintaining structure and order within the home. To support consistency and ease, the family will provide a comfortable and stylish uniform, allowing you to focus on the job without the stress of choosing what to wear each day.
Above all, they value a candidate who is warm and collaborative, smoothly integrates into their home, and will genuinely enjoy making daily life easier and more seamless.
The household manager’s responsibilities will include doing laundry, folding and putting it away, organizing and cleaning the kitchen, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, doing dishes, preparing meals and snacks, and helping to keep the home neat and organized. They will also monitor and help the children during nap times, change diapers, keep children’s common areas clean and tidy, run errands, do all the grocery shopping, and handle Amazon or Saks returns, among other tasks. They will be flexible and proactive to help Mom with additional tasks to maintain the household running smoothly.
