PART TIME NANNY/FAMILY ASSISTANT

Summary:
A warm and active family is seeking a nurturing and reliable nanny/family assistant to care for their curious and playful 2-year-old daughter, who will remain the primary focus until she begins school. The ideal candidate will foster a relationship built on mutual respect with the child, providing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning through play, music and movement, and reading. Once the older child starts school, the role will shift to include care for their infant, so experience with toddlers and infants is essential. Additional responsibilities include preparing healthy, pescatarian meals, managing light housekeeping and laundry, and assisting with general household organization. There is one small dog in the home, and the family has a pool in the backyard.

Required Skills:
Candidates must have hands-on experience with both toddlers and infants, be highly responsible, and exercise sound judgment. A background in early childhood development or experience with children in similar age groups is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will take initiative, plan creative and enriching activities, and maintain a balance of gentle structure and fun. Comfort with pets, light household duties, and a team-oriented mindset are all essential. Location:
Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA

Days & Hours:
Monday-Thursday, flexible for 3-4 days a week 18-24 hours. Willing to be flexible for the right candidate

Required Certifications:
3-5 Years Experience, CPR & First Aid, Perfect DMV, Trustline

Hourly/Salary:
35.-40.
