Nanny/Family Assistant

Summary:
We are seeking two wonderful, warm, energetic, and experienced LOCAL nannies to join a wonderful family relocating from London to the U.S. This can be any of the schedules that are noted in the "Days and Hours" we have listed, caring for two kind and loving children, including a three year old who will begin full time school this fall. The family values a nurturing and engaging approach to childcare, with an emphasis on learning through play, creativity, and active daily routines. They are looking for a nanny who will become a trusted part of a cohesive household team, someone who is fun, imaginative, and passionate about supporting children’s growth and development in a positive, joyful environment. 

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of prior professional nanny experience, a background in early childhood education or similar, and a genuine love for working with children. You must be proactive, organized, and able to plan stimulating activities that promote learning, exploration, and emotional development. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other household staff are essential. A calm, confident presence and the ability to create structure while remaining flexible are highly valued. Candidates must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and maintain the family’s privacy at all times. A creative, active, and thoughtful approach, along with a deep commitment to building a lasting bond with the children, is key to success in this role. Parents are interested in nannies that can teach responsibility as well as be someone the children can have fun with.

Location:
Georgetown, Washington, D.C.

Days & Hours:
Any of these schedules we are entertaining: 1.) 12 hour ROTA (every other week) 2.) FULL TIME M-TH / PART TIME F, SA and SU  3.) 3.5 DAY ON / 3.5 DAY OFF (and rotate weekends, so each nanny has 2 weekends a month)

Required Certifications:
CPR & First Aid, Perfect DMV, 5+ Years of Experience

Hourly/Salary:
35.-40.
