Description:

A close-knit and organized family is seeking a genuinely loving nanny to support Mom in caring for their almost 4.5-year-old and 1-year-old daughters.

Their oldest daughter is nearly five and incredibly observant, with a natural curiosity about the world around her. She’s growing more independent each day and will begin part-time preschool this August. Mom and Dad nurture her sense of autonomy, and she’s gradually taking on age-appropriate responsibilities, proudly checking off tasks on her chore chart. With a vivid imagination, she can happily spend hours immersed in play with her Barbies.

Their 1-year-old baby girl is also growing fast! She’s beginning to say her first words, and her tiny teeth have started to come in! Like her big sister, she is full of curiosity, and she can’t get enough of her beloved Miss Rachel Dolly. She thrives with her daily nap. 

This welcoming family’s priority is their adorable girls. With a balanced and organized style, Mom and Dad aim to raise their daughters in a warm, gentle, and safe environment, sticking to routines where possible. Developing their autonomy and fostering their imagination while ensuring safety at all times is very important to them. In the same manner, the ideal nanny would be genuinely nurturing, caring for the girls as if they were their own. As a family, they love to spend time outside together, and they’re up for anything fun! 

The ideal nanny for this role will be naturally nurturing, with a genuine love for caring for children. They should be creative and proactive, engaging the girls in imaginative play and encouraging their growing independence through fun, age-appropriate, and educational activities. A calm, compassionate demeanor is essential, along with strong communication skills, reliability, and the energy to keep up with two active little ones. The family values honesty, intuition, and a thoughtful, organized approach.

This role focuses primarily on childcare and includes planning activities, spending time outdoors, and supporting the girls’ daily routines. Responsibilities also include using meals/snacks prepped by the parent per instructions, cleaning up after meals, tidying their bedrooms and play areas, and keeping Mom and Dad updated throughout the day. Light household organization and general tidying are also part of the role.

Qualifications 

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• High school diploma
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Clean driving record
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule

Part-time, guaranteeing 25 hours per week. The general schedule will be Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:20 PM.

Compensation

The family is offering $25-$32/hour based upon 25 guaranteed hours per week which equates to up to $625-$800/week, and an anticipated annual base income of $32k-41k+/year. This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law. 

Benefits

The family is offering 3 days of paid sick time, 5 days of paid time off, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.
