Start Date: Anticipated Early January 2026
Schedule: Live-in, Full-day Support including Overnights
Commitment: 3 to 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide overnight and daytime newborn care
• Establish and implement sleep and feeding schedules
• Bottle preparation, feeding, burping, and sanitization of feeding items
• Diapering, bathing, and soothing techniques
• Track and log baby’s feeding, sleep, and diaper habits
• Support breastfeeding or bottle-feeding routines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of nursery and baby items
• Infant laundry, including clothing, linens, and swaddles
• Monitor signs of colic, reflux, or developmental concerns and alert parents
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to parents during the postpartum period
• Educate parents on newborn development and care techniques
• Help establish healthy household routines that support both baby and parent well-being
• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and a nurturing demeanor
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a Newborn Care Specialist/Postpartum Doula
• Trained in newborn care; CPR & First Aid Certified
• Knowledge of sleep training and lactation support
• English speaker
• Excellent references from recent newborn care clients
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Kind, proactive, and adaptable to family routines
