Location: Spokane, WA 99203
Ideal Start Date: August 25th, 2025
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM/ 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (guaranteed hours)
Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

About the family: 
A warm and active family of four based in Spokane, WA is seeking a dedicated live-in or live-out nanny to care for their two young children, ages 1 and 4. They are looking for an experienced and reliable caregiver who approaches childcare with compassion and a commitment to building strong, meaningful relationships.
 
The ideal candidate will provide structure, consistency, and creativity in daily routines, and engage the children through purposeful play, outdoor activities, sports, and other enriching experiences that align with their energy levels and developmental needs. Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred, as the family values cultural enrichment and hopes to immerse their children in both the Spanish language and diverse cultural traditions.
This role is well-suited for a nurturing professional who seeks to form a deep, lasting connection with the children and become a trusted, long-term part of the family.
 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Transport children to preschool and scheduled activities
    • Prepare healthy meals and snacks (breakfast & lunch) tailored to children’s dietary needs
    • Plan and engage in creative, developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
    • Encourage emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured learning
    • Immerse the children in the Spanish language through conversation, music, books, and daily routines
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of children’s areas (bedrooms, play spaces, etc.)
    • Perform light housekeeping related to the children (e.g., laundry, tidying up after meals)
    • Travel with the family as needed for vacations or extended stays
    • Foster positive behavior and consistent routines
    • Communicate and collaborate with parents regularly regarding schedules, milestones, and needs

Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years childcare or nannying experience (required)
    • Experience caring for multiple young children simultaneously (required)
    • Fluent in Spanish and English (preferred)
    • Previous live-in nanny experience (preferred)
    • Energetic and active person that enjoys outdoor play and physical activities
    • Willingness to domestic travel with the family
    • CPR and First Aid certified
    • Ability to swim
    • Non-smoker
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States
