FULL TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT

Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Family Assistant to support the smooth running of a busy household. Responsibilities include running errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and pharmacy visits; performing light housekeeping to keep bedrooms, bathrooms, and the kitchen tidy; assisting with laundry; and helping with meal planning, prep, and occasional simple cooking. The role also includes providing light academic support, such as weekly homework check-ins, and general family support. A successful candidate will be a self-starter who can anticipate needs, take initiative, and contribute positively to the overall household environment. The family has one friendly dog, so comfort with pets is a must.

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate must be highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong time management and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in fluent English. A proactive mindset and the ability to identify and address issues without needing direction are key. Experience with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and errands is required. Must be comfortable working in a home with a dog and have a warm, professional demeanor.

M-F, 40 hours guaranteed, some flexibility with hours

Required Certifications:
5+ Years of Experience, Perfect DMV
