Full-Time NYC Nanny Needed for Infant NYC ONLY NANNIES

Full-Time Nanny Needed – Upper East Side, NYC Local NYC candidates only (must have a reasonable daily commute)
Modern Minders is assisting a long-standing client on the Upper East Side in hiring an exceptional full-time nanny to care primarily for a newborn and occasionally collaborate with a second nanny. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned childcare professional to join a kind, respectful, and well-supported household with a tight-knit team of career household staff.
The family values loyalty, flexibility, and proactive communication. Their home is warm, energetic, and structured—ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in providing thoughtful, developmentally appropriate care.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM (50 hours/week guaranteed)
Occasional flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel is required. Candidates must be team players who can cover for their co-nanny when needed and adapt to the evolving needs of the household.

Travel Requirements: Must be passport-ready and open to domestic and international travel. The family travels frequently and values caregivers who are confident and experienced when on the go.

Compensation: $35–$40/hour, depending on experience, with additional benefits, ie. metro card, medical stipend, vacation time and sick and holidays

Candidate Profile: We’re looking for a professional nanny who is:

• Currently based in New York City with a reliable and reasonable commute to the Upper East Side
• Experienced with newborns and toddlers, with at least 5 years of full-time nanny experience
• Naturally calm, warm, and easygoing, with a positive and professional demeanor
• A confident team player who is comfortable collaborating with co-nannies and other private household staff when needed
• Willing to pitch in and step into other responsibilities when needed, primarily to support the co-nanny
• Comfortable working in high-profile households, maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times
• Proactive in communication, emotionally intelligent, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
