A fast-paced, professional family of three in Tribeca is seeking an exceptional candidate who can run a household as smoothly as a five-star hotel while bringing warmth and creativity to after-school hours. Great compensation and lovely home environment.
This role involves managing a 3,400 sq. ft. luxury apartment in a high-end Tribeca building with concierge services. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate household needs while creating a warm, supportive environment for the family’s young child.
Start Date: Immediate Start
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Primary Responsibilities:
Orchestrate the day-to-day flow of a fabulous 4-bedroom Manhattan apartment
Keep calendars, vendor visits, weekly grocery shopping, Amazon packages (& returns), and errands, humming along
Plan engaging, screen-free afternoons for a curious grade-schooler, including school pick-up from bus stop, playdates, and enrichment outings as time permits
Prep healthy family dinners – follow simple recipes (bonus points if you love to cook)
Stay on top of wardrobes, school forms, and travel packing so nothing falls through the cracks
Coordinate with building concierge and oversee vendor and maintenance appointments.
Take inventory of household supplies and restock as needed.
Proactively conduct walkthroughs and inspections to ensure everything in the home is in proper working order.
Provide hands-on household support and be able to complete simple tasks as required.
Tackle the unexpected with a calm, can-do mindset—occasionally staying late or covering a weekend when needed
Requirements:
3+ Years proven track record managing a busy household in a similar role (previous experience as a nanny or family assistant combined with house manager experience strongly preferred).
Sharp eye for detail and the initiative to fix small problems before they become big ones.
NYC savvy: you know the fastest subway line, the best rainy-day museum, and how to book a last-minute handyman.
Discreet, professional, and tech-comfortable (Instacart, Google Calendar, smart-home apps).
Take pride in your work and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
Fluent in English
Valid driver’s license a plus; culinary chops even better
