Positive & Proactive PT Family Assistant Needed in San Anselmo

A single parent in San Anselmo is seeking a part-time family assistant to help with childcare and household tasks. Their 4-year-old is in school full-time until 3p, is easygoing, playful and loves to explore. Responsibilities include pick-up from school, driving to activities, family laundry, meal prep, light tidying, and occasional errands.

The family needs coverage Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 or 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., and can provide up to 20-25 hours with help on Fridays and/or Saturdays. They are flexible and open to discussing what works best for the candidate.

Ultimately, the best person for them is a self-starter, comfortable swimming (they have a pool on site), and is easygoing with a good sense of humor!

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny / family assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Nice to have: fluency in Spanish

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + current on the booster or willing to update it
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide a household car for work-related driving)
• Positive and loving
• Easygoing with a sense of humor
• Self-starter
• Comfortable swimming and supervising child in the pool
• Can make at least a year commitment
• Nice to have: ECE/child development background
