Family Syllabus: An active family in Sacramento is searching for a caring and proactive nanny/family assistant to join their household. They have a spirited 2.5-year-old daughter and love to be outdoors together biking, hiking, and exploring. Their daughter loves to be on the go. She enjoys music, dance, swimming, and being active. She enjoys imaginative play, especially with her dolls, helping them eat, changing their clothes, and changing their diapers. Their daughter attends preschool from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Both parents work from home, a housekeeper takes care of the deep cleaning, and they have a family chef to provide the meals. The family also has dogs, so candidates must be comfortable with animals.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, patient, energetic, and imaginative. A nanny who is creative and enjoys coming up with different activities for their daughter to participate in would be a dream. A nanny who is active and enjoys the outdoors would fit right in with this family. Responsibilities include the child’s laundry, closet organization (including seasonal transitions and size adjustments), maintaining tidy and organized play areas (including changing out toys), walking the dogs, cleaning out and organizing their daughters bags for school and camps, and running errands like dry cleaning, package pick up/drop off, and grocery shopping. Mom will have a detailed list for the nanny to follow. The family is looking for someone who is always one step ahead, anticipates needs, and would even enjoy assisting with and organizing seasonal decor. A nanny who can confidently collaborate with Mom on her daughter’s developmental milestones and understands when to step in or out of a situation will be the perfect fit. While a college degree isn’t required, a deep understanding of developmental milestones is essential.

Job Synopsis: This role involves a variety of household tasks and childcare responsibilities. The duties include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, which includes loading and unloading the dishwasher, and keeping the child’s bedroom, closet, and play areas tidy. This role will include transporting the child to various activities. This family is looking for a live-in nanny and will provide a separate bedroom and bathroom for the nanny. They are open to relocating a candidate for the right fit. The schedule for this position will be a guarantee of 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday or Wednesday through Sunday, with flexibility for date nights and travel. The family will always provide two consecutive days off unless traveling. The family spends their summers at their second home in Truckee, CA, and would like the nanny to come along. Please be open to traveling with the family domestically and internationally for several weeks at a time. This role is paying within a range of $40-45/hour gross with an expected salary of $100k+ per year. It will also include benefits such as paid holidays, sick leave, and paid vacation. A nanny vehicle will be provided.
