Family Overview
First-time parents in Livermore are seeking a professional part-time nanny to care for their 6-month-old daughter. She is at an exciting stage—beginning solids, practicing tummy time, and working toward crawling—and thrives with music, outdoor walks, and interactive play. The family is thoughtful, respectful, and eager to welcome a nanny who will provide safe, structured, and engaging care while guiding them through milestones.
Schedule: Wednesdays & Thursdays, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (16 guaranteed hours/week) with option to add Friday mornings or extend to 20–24 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
Provide attentive care for one infant, including bottles, naps, solids, and developmental play
Support milestones such as tummy time, crawling, and early feeding
Incorporate music, interactive play, and outdoor strolls into the daily routine
Maintain tidiness in child-related areas (laundry, bottles, toys, play spaces)
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years recent, paid, professional in-home infant nanny experience (post age 18)
Strong knowledge of infant development, feeding, and sleep routines
Infant CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)
Up-to-date vaccinations (TDAP, TB, flu)
Pet friendly (cat in home)
Reliable, communicative, and professional
Contactable references required
Experience with one’s own children, siblings, or grandchildren will not be considered professional experience. Only paid, in-home references qualify.
