Looking for a long-Term Nanny in East Hanover, NJ

Location: East Hanover, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week guaranteed)
Start Date: End of November
Children: 2.5-year-old and 7-month-old
Compensation: $30–$35/hour (W-2 payroll)
Benefits: 40 guaranteed hours per week, paid vacation, paid sick/personal days, and paid holidays

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan age-appropriate activities at home (arts & crafts, reading, building, pretend play)

• Support developmental milestones through play, storytelling, and interactive games

• Assist with potty training or diaper changes as needed

• Maintain daily communication with parents regarding routines, milestones, and any concerns

• Keep consistent routines for naps, meals, and daily transitions

• Provide patience and gentle redirection during emotional moments or boundary-testing phases

• Prepare and serve simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children

• Do the children’s laundry and keep play areas and bedrooms tidy throughout the day

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience caring for toddlers through school-aged children, including experience caring for multiple children at once

• Must have a personal vehicle to commute to work (driving during work hours is not required)

• Reside within 30 minutes of East Hanover, NJ

• Up to date with TDAP and flu shots

• COVID vaccinated (preferred, but not required)

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to get certified)

• Comfortable working in a home where a parent works remotely
