A warm, easy-going household with 3 children (ages 7, 5, 18 mos) and two small, friendly dogs seeks a calm, kind-but-confident professional to partner with parents as they welcome a new baby. Dad is a professional who works a lot through the week and prioritizes family life on the weekend. Mom is a stay-at-home parent who needs support through the week. You’ll care for:

Child 4 (baby on the way): Arriving soon—family will value newborn support and a smooth transition for everyone.
Home vibe: casual, lively, and loving—“mild chaos” at times, like many homes with multiple young kids. Two sweet dogs are part of the daily flow.
Hours: Monday–Friday 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Weekends: Occasional, pre-planned coverage as mutually agreed.
Guarantee: 35 hours/week guaranteed.
Commitment: 6–12 months.
Live-out role.
Child-focused care for children—create a warm, structured day with age-appropriate activities.
Plan & run enrichment: crafts, outdoor time, library/park outings; build a simple activity schedule and help find socialization opportunities for the toddler.
Newborn support after baby arrives; collaborate on gentle routines and sibling transitions.
School-age support: after-school routines, homework help
Scheduling appointments as requested
Light household help (kid-related): children’s laundry, tidying play/meal areas, simple resets—especially during the first months postpartum.
Occasional errands (e.g., quick grocery run, dry cleaning) with advance notice.
Pet-friendly: comfortable with two small dogs; if the family travels without the nanny, they may request dog care during regular hours or honor guaranteed pay.
The family is looking for someone who is:
Unflappable & nurturing: stays steady in a lively home, uses calm, clear communication.
Kind yet firm: sets loving boundaries and keeps kids engaged, curious, and safe.
Proactive: brings ideas for learning, play, and gentle risk-taking in appropriate, structured ways.
Experienced with multiple littles, especially toddler + newborn dynamics.
Dog-loving and team-minded.
3+ years professional nanny experience (multiple children preferred).
Strong newborn/infant and toddler experience; confident with developmental milestones.
CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain promptly).
High school diploma or higher.
Safe driver with a reliable, insured vehicle for on-duty use (mileage arrangements per family/agency policy).
Excellent references and professional boundaries/confidentiality.
Agency Requirements: We require a minimum of 9 references (3 Childcare, 3 Employment, and 3 Personal). This is nonnegotiable.
Hourly $25-$37, DOE; overtime per applicable laws; guaranteed hours.
Paid Time Off: 2 weeks' vacation (often aligned with family travel), 5 paid sick days
Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus up to 2 birthday days (yours and/or an immediate family member).
Health Contribution: $250/month toward health insurance.
Extras: Gas stipend negotiable. If the family travels without the nanny, either light dog care during regular hours or guaranteed pay for those hours.
Target start: November 3, 2025.
