NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER NEEDED FOR FAMILY IN KIRTLAND, OHIO

Compensation: $25/hr

Schedule: 25 guaranteed hrs/week. Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Description: 

A loving family in Kirtland, OH, is seeking a competent nanny to help manage their home and care for their 3.5-month-old son.

Their son is a sweet and happy baby who feeds, naps, and plays comfortably throughout the day.  The right candidate should feel comfortable caring for the family’s infant son, stepping in to support his needs whenever mom is unavailable.

Their 16.5-month-old daughter is playful, joyful, and curious.  Most days she attends an in-home daycare, but will need occasional care when they are closed.

Mom and Dad are attentive, thoughtful parents who prioritize open communication and respect within their family. They believe it's important to listen to their children and guide them through redirection rather than using strict “no’s.” They are looking for someone who can support their family with warmth and attentiveness, who can step in and help wherever needed. As a family, they love spending time together visiting farmers' markets, taking walks in the park, and enjoying grill cookouts in the backyard.

 

The family is seeking a responsible and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes pride in a job well done, and is willing to step in wherever needed. Mom, a former nanny herself and now a stay-at-home parent, understands the value of a candidate who is self-motivated, confident, and capable of taking initiative without needing constant guidance.  They would love to find someone with a “see a need, fill a need” mentality. The ideal candidate enjoys the work they do, moves efficiently throughout the day, and naturally knows what to do and when to do it. Experience with infants is essential.

 

The candidate’s responsibilities will be a blend of childcare and household management. Childcare duties include tending to the children's needs with care, feeding bottles, playing games, and reading stories.  Additional support will include light tasks related to the children, such as laundering clothes and linens, washing bottles, pump parts, etc., and tidying the play areas. The candidate will also assist with light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and other household tasks to keep the home organized and running smoothly.

 

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Experience as a family assistant or household manager
• Experience caring for infants
• High school diploma
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Clean driving record
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pet-friendly

 

Schedule

Part-time, guaranteeing 25 hours per week. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. 

 

Compensation

The family is offering $25/hour based upon 25 guaranteed hours per week, which equates to up to $625 week, and an anticipated annual base income of $32k+. This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law. 

 

Benefits

The family is offering a $200 monthly healthcare stipend, 3 days of paid sick time, 5 days of paid time off, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement for on-the-job travel.
