Household dynamic:

  • This private and tight-knit Bay Area family is soaking up life with their baby and is excited to welcome another rotational nanny to their team! The candidate will be joining the family’s childcare team in supporting their baby’s early growth and development and creating a loving and safe environment for the child to thrive, all while maintaining respectful boundaries. The family hopes to continue to expand their family and would love to find someone willing to grow with them for years to come.
  • Both parents work in and out of the home regularly and live a fast-paced lifestyle. A candidate who is adaptable and excited to join these parents in the adventure of raising their child will be an excellent fit! The family fosters a supportive environment at home that allows everyone to thrive and employs a household staff to keep things running smoothly, including a rotational nanny this person will be working with during schedule transitions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • This position is ideal for a professional, warm, grounded, and reliable rotational nanny who is confident in providing expert childcare and prioritizing holistic growth and milestones. The ideal candidate is a confident and experienced, learning-oriented nanny who takes the initiative in planning and leading age-appropriate educational and creative activities, whether it’s reading, crafts, music, or outdoor play. They will highly appreciate a detail-oriented, developmentally-minded nanny who is well-versed in tracking and monitoring feeding and sleeping schedules and other developmental milestones and communicating them to both parents.
  • Close collaboration and flexibility in working with engaged parents are desirable. Both parents are highly involved and would appreciate a candidate who understands and respects this family dynamic. A proactive candidate who can intuitively step in and out will be an excellent fit. A self-driven candidate who can demonstrate open and respectful communication while working with a caring, knowledgeable, and collaborative team will fit right in. Someone on the go and travel-ready who can join the family adventures domestically and abroad, as well as traveling between the family's two homes during rotation, is a must. A true partner who is confident in collaborating closely with parents, co-rotational nanny, and household staff to align care routines is important. Respecting and supporting family values, routines, and household guidelines is vital for this organized home. Privacy and confidentiality are essential for the role. A professional and seasoned candidate who can maintain the family’s privacy will be deeply valued. The family is excited to welcome a candidate who is eager to support their growing family and provide long-term childcare support.
