A large, busy family in Los Gatos is seeking a nanny/family assistant to provide FT care for their toddler. They have a 3-year-old girl and a 5-month-old baby. They have extended family who live nearby and they often shuffle between one another’s homes, so someone who is comfortable interacting with stay-at-home parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles is important – they are very much one big happy family! Their baby has a dedicated mother’s helper but this person should be comfortable stepping in as needed to care for both children simultaneously.
Responsibilities include all child-related care such as driving, laundry, cooking, and planning activities, as well as some household related tasks including running errands, making travel arrangements, organization, and vendor management.
Ultimately, the best person for them is education-focused, organized and proactive, and will cultivate their children’s interests, curiosity, and creativity. They are looking for someone grounded, detail-oriented, and genuinely loving and kind with their kids.
