• Location: Bellevue, WA
• Ages of children: 2 years old at the beginning of the role
• Start date: January 1, 2026
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Additional opportunities for overtime on the weekends or additional days may be available.
• Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $83k-$93k/year range.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out.

• This loving, return Adventure Nannies family is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their growing toddler. Their son is already active and eager to explore and run around everywhere. The family values a comfortable, relaxing home environment and would love to work with someone who can nurture that energy alongside them. During the week, the family follows a general routine with daily outdoor time for their little one, typically visiting a nearby park with Mom once or twice a day. Weekends are often spent out and about as a family.
• Dad travels for about a week every month to San Francisco for work, and the family plans to begin accompanying him on some of those trips. They also take a few weeks throughout the year, traveling domestically and internationally. Though they don’t expect frequent overseas travel, they would like to work with someone open to the possibility in case they need the extra support in a pinch. Both sets of grandparents take turns visiting from time to time, bringing a very full and lively energy to their household.

• This position is ideal for a reliable, critical-minded, dedicated nanny who has a genuine passion for childcare and a nurturing, safety-conscious approach to toddler care. The family values natural connection and warmth and is hoping to work with a nanny who truly loves spending time with children and brings a calm, positive energy into their home. Extensive experience in caring for toddlers and a passion for education will be key to this role! The right candidate is confident in setting consistent boundaries, modeling good behavior, not relying on screens, and fostering a love for learning and education during these formative years. Athletic and sporty candidates who can keep up with an active toddler and teach him sports as he grows will be a wonderful fit. 
• Hygiene and cleanliness are essential in this household, and the right nanny will take the initiative to keep both the child and shared spaces clean. The perfect candidate will be someone dedicated who is looking to grow with the family for years to come. The family is seeking someone who sees nannying as a long-term career and who brings their full focus and heart to the role. A college-educated candidate with a background in education, music, or other enriching fields would be a wonderful fit. The ideal candidate is extremely safety-conscious and situationally aware - proactive scanning the environment, making smart decisions on the go, and demonstrating excellent judgment. Someone structured, communicative, even-keeled, and reserved will thrive in this calm, organized home. The family resides in an area where it is often gray and rainy, and they’re looking for someone who can thrive in this environment and bring steady, positive energy - rain or shine! A thoughtful and adaptable nanny who is ready to jump in to support the family when needed, including traveling domestically and internationally, will be a perfect fit. 
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks conversational Mandarin or Spanish, has an early childhood education degree or coursework, and/or a background in Montessori.

Qualifications: 

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Extensive experience caring for toddlers
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Valid passport
• Ability to swim and care for children around water
• Ability to keep up with a very active 2-year-old toddler and teach him about sports
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the home and child
• Remain up-to-date on all standard vaccinations (flu, tdap, covid, etc.)
• College education or a higher education degree 
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Ability to thrive in dark, rainy PNW weather
