• Location: Georgetown, Washington, D.C.
• Ages of children: 2 months old
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on five consecutive days/week. The family will work with the candidate to create a schedule 2-4 weeks in advance.
• Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation in the $83-93k/year range. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live in or Live-out. If live-in, the family will provide a temporary landing pad until they move to a new home this winter. The new home will have a private bedroom and bathroom on a separate level of the home.

• These first-time parents are over the moon to be raising their bright, growing baby daughter! At just 2 months old, she’s doing everything they had hoped for - healthy, thriving, eating and sleeping well. A wonderful newborn care specialist, whose gentle guidance has helped set the tone for a smooth transition into parenthood, has supported the family. As she prepares to transition out of the role by the end of November, the family is now excited to welcome a nurturing and reliable support for their daughter and care for her as much as they do.
• This is a dual-career household where both parents work from home and travel a lot. Both lead active and healthy lifestyles, enjoying good food and spending time outdoors, whether it’s riding a bike or spending time at the nearby park. Exercising daily and cooking healthy meals at home are regular parts of the family’s rhythm. Throughout the year, they travel for several weeks, including over a week in the Caribbean during the winter and two weeks at the beach in the summer. They also enjoy ski trips to the Rocky Mountains and frequent visits to their family in New York and Philadelphia. Before becoming parents, they traveled internationally for fun every year, but they have not yet decided what international trips they would like to take with their daughter. They also employ a housekeeper to support their household.

Both parents travel frequently, and while the family will strive to provide a structure and predictability, someone adaptable and able to jump in and support the family’s dynamics will be a perfect fit. They hope to find someone who will grow with them with the same care, respect, and thoughtfulness they bring into their home.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Flexible with schedule variations on a month-to-month and week-to-week basis.
