GENUINE AND COMPASSIONATE NANNY NEEDED FOR FAMILY IN CINCINNATI, OHIO

Compensation: $25-$35/hr

Schedule: 28 guaranteed hrs/week, Monday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm & Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

A loving and vibrant family is seeking a passionate and professional nanny to care for their 3 children, ages 11, 8, and 6. 

 

Their 11-year-old son is extremely outgoing, active, and full of personality. He plays many sports, including football, baseball, and basketball, and approaches life with a strong sense of fairness and integrity. He is conscientious, empathetic, and attuned to the emotions of others.

 

Their 8-year-old daughter is a creative and artistic spirit. She loves gymnastics, cheer, softball in the spring, and swimming in the summer, and can spend hours coloring and drawing. She enjoys all things girly, including painting her nails, and is full of fun energy.

 

Their 6-year-old daughter has a strong and playful personality, loves being in charge, and knows how to charm her siblings. She enjoys drawing alongside her sister, participating in gymnastics, soccer, and softball, and exploring the neighborhood, especially the fairy gardens. All three children share a close and loving bond, making their home lively, fun, and full of warmth.

In this role, the nanny will provide attentive, nurturing care for school age children, supporting their daily routines and overall development. Responsibilities include picking up children from school, safely transporting them to and from sporting events and other activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring children bathe or shower after sports. The nanny will also help with light household tasks such as cooking, preparing meals and snacks, cleaning up after meals, doing laundry, and tidying children’s spaces. Evenings may include helping with sports transportation and occasionally getting the children to bed. Throughout the day, the nanny will keep parents updated with photos and highlights of the children’s activities.

 

Qualifications 

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Experience working with school-age children
• High school diploma
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Clean driving record
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

 

Schedule

Part-time, guaranteeing 28 hours per week. The general schedule will be Monday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm and Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. During the summer, the family is open to offering more hours. Flexibility to stay late occasionally is appreciated.

 

Compensation

The family is offering $25-$35/hour based upon 28 guaranteed hours per week, which equates to up to $700-$980/week, and an anticipated annual base income of $36k+-$50k+/year. This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law. 

 

Benefits

The family is offering 3 days of paid sick time, 5 days of paid time off, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.
