Description: 

A dynamic family in Wake Forest is seeking a proactive, confident, and communicative nanny to care for their sweet 16-month-old starting ASAP! Their toddler is curious, fun-loving, and just beginning to assert independence. Both parents work remotely in demanding, full-time roles and are looking for a dependable caregiver who can take initiative, manage the day independently, and communicate clearly.  Finding a reliable and engaged caregiver is essential for this sweet family!

Schedule:

• Immediate Need: 32 hours/ week (Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Starting in January: Shifts to 25 guaranteed hours/ week (The schedule can be flexible at 25 hours. For instance it could be full days a few times/week or shorter shifts spread across the week. The family is open to collaborating on a schedule that works for their nanny).

*Note: For a great fit, the family is open to considering candidates who are only interested in 25 hours per week beginning immediately.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide attentive, nurturing care to their child during working hours
• Meal prep and light household duties related to the child: tidying play areas, laundry, etc.
• Create a safe and enriching environment with age-appropriate activities
• Keep parents updated on the day’s highlights, routines, and any concerns

Requirements:

• Comfortable with a minimum 1-year commitment, ideally longer
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Confident swimmer as the family has a pool
• Comfortable around two dogs and a cat (no pet care required)
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Familiar with toddler milestones and supports exploration over rigid boundaries
