Full-Time Nanny Needed | Fort Collins, CO

Start Date: October 27, 2025
Commitment: 1–3 years

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced full-time nanny to join a professional family in Fort Collins and provide loving care for two daughters (ages 3 years and 7 months). The family values communication, structure, and empathy, and seeks a caregiver who can balance nurturing care with initiative and strong judgment.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 12:00 pm-7:00 pm (35 hrs/week) with occasional longer evening hours planned ahead of time
  • Occasional overnights/travel may arise but are not expected at this time

Pay & Benefits

  • $28–$35/hour (targeting around $30/hour, flexible for the right candidate)
  • Guaranteed hours
  • Vacation days, sick days, and paid holidays off
  • Payroll handled through HomePay

Duties

  • Engaging both children in age-appropriate developmental activities and enrichment
  • Supporting the 3-year-old with routines, learning, socialization, and classes
  • Helping the baby establish nap and feeding schedules (supporting transition from nursing to bottle)
  • Preparing snacks, lunch, and occasional dinners
  • Introducing solids and cleaning bottles/feeding items
  • Light child-related housekeeping: tidying play areas, doing children’s laundry, organizing rooms, stocking diaper areas, managing diaper pails
  • Driving to preschool and activities (family car provided)

Parenting Approach & Family Style

  • Gentle but firm parenting: consistent boundaries, routines, and empathy
  • Emphasis on explaining the “why” and encouraging trust and confidence
  • Daily reading and enrichment are part of the family rhythm
  • Both parents work from home (father travels frequently)

Requirements

  • Strong infant care experience (7-month-old)
  • Background in early childhood development or education preferred
  • Ability to balance needs of an infant and an active preschooler
  • Strong communicator, proactive, type-A personality who can lead without micromanagement
  • Comfortable handling feedback and offering thoughtful suggestions
  • Up-to-date on vaccines (TDAP, flu, COVID if applicable)

Ideal Candidate

The family is looking for someone fun, present, and organized, who can:

  • Create stimulating activities and social opportunities for the 3-year-old
  • Help the baby build healthy routines and feeding success
  • Be a trusted partner in guiding both girls’ growth and development
  • Offer initiative — from playdate planning to enrichment suggestions

This is a fantastic opportunity for a career nanny who thrives with busy families, enjoys planning age-appropriate activities, and can confidently care for two little ones with different needs.
