Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour / $100,000 Annually
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (50 hours per week)

Job Details
Our client in Excelsior, Minnesota, is seeking a full-time, elite, long-term Nanny to provide care and developmental support for their three children, ages 10, 4, and 2 years. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, engaging, and sociable, with a genuine love for working with children and supporting an active family.

This is a sole-charge role responsible for transportation to and from school and preschool, organizing playdates and activities, taking the children to appointments (doctor and dentist), assisting with homework, preparing lunches and snacks, maintaining an organized playroom, and managing laundry for the children.

The nanny will also incorporate age-appropriate preschool learning and developmental activities, reinforcing early learning concepts such as colors, numbers, letters, and fine motor skills through play and daily routines. The nanny will complete a detailed daily nanny journal, documenting meals, naps, activities, developmental notes, and key observations to maintain clear communication with the parents.

The family maintains a semi-formal household with a housekeeper on staff, and a family vehicle is provided for all work-related driving. The candidate should enjoy being active outdoors year-round and be a confident swimmer.

Travel
The nanny will travel with the family during the first two weeks of July each year and during Spring Break.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of recent professional nanny experience
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Experience creating and implementing preschool and early elementary learning plans
  • Travel nanny experience
  • Skilled in maintaining a daily nanny journal and using family communication apps for updates
  • Confident supervising children in and around water (lake, ocean and pool)
  • Well-presented, professional appearance
  • Excellent long-term childcare references
