This loving, organized family in Memorial Villages, Houston, TX is seeking an experienced rotational nanny to provide attentive, developmentally focused care for their joyful 8-month-old.

  • Location: Memorial Villages, Houston TX
  • Ages of children: 8 months.
  • Start date/Contract dates: ASAP, the sooner the better
  • Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 7 days on/7 days off, Monday through Monday.
  • Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $110k-$135k/year dependent on candidate experience.
  • Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, dental insurance, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
  • Live-in/Live-out: Live-in - a private bedroom and bathroom within the family’s main residence while on-duty. This role is not open to fly-in/fly-out candidates - candidates must already be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate within a commutable distance for this role.

Both parents are multilingual and maintain engaging professional schedules that keep them in and out of the home regularly, spending most days outside of the home. The family splits time between multiple residences and travels internationally throughout the year. Their home is supported by a housekeeper, chef and one beloved ROTA nanny who is already in place, and they share their space with a beloved Shih Tzu.
  • The family is seeking a long-term, experienced nanny who can seamlessly integrate into their fully-staffed household and help maintain the structured, organized rhythm they've built. They're looking for someone who is professional, adaptable, and excited to travel with the family, someone who can anticipate needs, communicate proactively, and provide exceptional care for their son as he grows. The ideal candidate will value working collaboratively within a team environment and is passionate about fostering their child's development through engaging, interactive activities.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for an organized, structured, and adaptable nanny who is passionate about caring for infants and toddlers and thrives in a fully-staffed, fast-paced household. A candidate who can create a nurturing environment while supporting the child's individual needs through interactive and enriching activities will be an excellent addition. The family values a candidate with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work harmoniously with other household staff.
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep for the child, tidying, organizing of children's areas, occasional errands, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. The nanny will be responsible for managing the child's daily routines, tracking developmental milestones, and ensuring a structured yet playful environment that fosters curiosity and growth.
  • The ideal candidate must have a valid passport, extensive travel experience, be a confident swimmer able to care for children in and around water, have experience working in a team or fully-staffed environment, be pet-friendly, hold a valid driver's license, have ROTA experience, and be familiar with infant/toddler developmental milestones. The family is seeking a professional with a structured yet joyful childcare philosophy where routines provide stability and love fuels creativity and discovery. On-the-job training, completed courses or independent study, and experience utilizing various childcare methods as a professional caregiver or educator are highly valued. The family looks forward to building a long-lasting relationship with a professional who is as invested in their son's growth and happiness as they are.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones (for infants and toddlers)
  • Live-in while on duty and live-out while off duty
  • Valid passport
  • Travel experience
  • Able to swim and care for children in water
  • Experience working in a team or fully-staffed environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • ROTA experience strongly preferred
  • Dog friendly!
