Household dynamic:

  • This organized, active, and spirited family is seeking a hardworking and creative nanny to support their three bright and curious daughters, aged almost 6, 4, and 3. All three girls are in school full-time, and with three children so close in age and all under six, there are numerous competing needs at all times. Their oldest child is high-energy, curious, and possesses excellent leadership qualities, but requires support with positive redirection at times. Their middle daughter is sensitive and highly reactive, with a mild diagnosis of ASD, and needs help with strategies to self-soothe. Their youngest child is very strong-willed and playful, and could benefit from more structure and boundaries. Mom works from a home office separate from the household and is in and out regularly. The family is supported by a full-time housekeeper who helps with the kids in the mornings and afternoons, and they're looking to bring on a chef to assist with cooking.
  • The family travels 2-4 weeks per year during traditional school breaks and values someone who can help organize the kids' schedules and household admin tasks while the children are in school, with flexibility to have time off during the school day to accommodate personal needs.

Ideal candidate:

  • The family is seeking a long-term nanny/family assistant who is interested in providing extra enrichment for the children, especially for their oldest daughter. They're looking for someone with teaching experience or the ability to design projects that promote learning and creativity. The ideal candidate will be capable of engaging in outdoor activities with the kids and ideally have skiing experience.
  • This position is ideal for a dedicated, creative, and lively nanny who is passionate about caring for school-aged children and thrives in an active, structured household. The family needs someone who will love their kids and bring enthusiasm, warmth, and a genuine interest in fostering their growth and development. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing competing needs, providing positive redirection, supporting emotional regulation strategies, and implementing structure and boundaries with patience and consistency.
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep for the children (with openness to preparing meals for the entire family if the candidate is interested), tidying, organizing of children's areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, managing the family calendar, and helping with household admin tasks and organizing the kids' schedules while the children are in school.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has teaching experience, is an experienced skier, has experience supporting children with ASD or sensory sensitivities, and brings a proactive, organized approach to both childcare and household management. The family is seeking a professional who can strike a balance between warmth and structure, foster creativity and curiosity, and become a trusted, long-term partner in raising their bright and spirited daughters.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Knowledge and experience with preschoolers and school-aged children
  • Travel nanny experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid passport
  • Able to swim and care for children in water
  • Family assisting experience
