Inside Their World:
A family in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a flexible and nurturing nanny to care for their daughter. Their 1-year-old daughter is a curious, brave, and joyful little girl who’s always smiling. Friendly, social, and talkative, she loves exploring the world around her and staying engaged in fun activities. She enjoys free play, swim class, library programs, music, and yoga, and has recently begun mimicking words and phrases like “good girl.” As the first granddaughter on both sides, she’s adored by her grandparents, who cherish every moment with her.
Family Environment: Mom and Dad’s parenting style is structured yet relaxed, aiming for routines to keep the day on track while staying flexible to allow fun, enriching, and engaging experiences for their daughter. They value honesty, open communication, teamwork, and a positive attitude. As a family, they love spending time together shopping, taking walks, visiting extended family, cooking and baking, and cheering on their favorite Cleveland sports teams. Depending on the day, Dad may be in and out of the home, and Mom may work remotely from her office space. An ideal nanny will appreciate their collaborative approach and be comfortable working as part of a warm, communicative team.
Who Thrives Here:
The family is looking for a kind, proactive, and thoughtful partner in childcare. Someone who is “on top of it,” ready to go each day, attentive to the little details, and ready to bring joy, curiosity, and engagement to every day. Their ideal candidate prioritizes safety above all and provides constant interaction and engagement for their daughter. The perfect nanny is playful and genuinely invested in helping her explore, learn, and grow through creating fun, enriching experiences. Someone who communicates clearly and directly with Mom and Dad, whether sharing successes or challenges, and is lighthearted with a positive outlook, is essential. While not a requirement, Mom and Dad would love someone with a background in Montessori. Comfort in the water and the ability to swim are needed for swim classes, and reliable transportation is required for outings and activities. With grandparents involved in her life, it’s important that the candidate is comfortable interacting with extended family.
Daily Rhythm: In this role, you will provide attentive, nurturing care to their daughter, supporting her routines and development, and actively engaging with her in play. Responsibilities include planning fun educational age-appropriate activities, safely transporting their child to and from activities, tidying up the child’s common areas, preparing simple meals/snacks for their child, loading and unloading the dishwasher, emptying and restocking the diaper pail, texting photos throughout the day, and assisting with their child’s laundry.

This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law.
