Inside Their World:
A first time single mom in Moreland Hills, OH is preparing to welcome her baby in July 2026 and is seeking an experienced and certified postpartum doula to provide calm, steady, and comprehensive support throughout the fourth trimester.
Family Environment:
Mom is loving, thoughtful, and organized. Her home reflects a warm, calm, and structured environment designed to support both her recovery and her newborn’s needs. She values planning, wellness, kindness, and clear routines. She also spends time at her second home in India once the baby is old enough to travel for 3-8 weeks, so the doula should be comfortable in a culturally rich, environment with extended family nearby and a household supported by additional staff, including a chef.
Mom enjoys travel, good food, spa days, and peaceful moments by the ocean. She works best with professionals who are gentle, nurturing, and able to maintain a predictable, supportive environment.
Who Thrives Here:
This role is ideal for a certified postpartum doula with deep experience supporting both newborns and postpartum recovery. Someone who brings emotional steadiness, intuitive care, and meticulous attention to detail will feel at home here.
The doula will collaborate daily with an NCS, so a team oriented mindset is essential. This family appreciates professionals who communicate clearly, respect boundaries, and maintain a nurturing presence without overwhelm. A candidate who genuinely loves supporting new mothers through healing, bonding, and confidence building will thrive.
This role functions as one half of a coordinated newborn support team. The postpartum doula and the NCS work side by side with clear, complementary responsibilities.
The NCS leads overnight care and the newborn’s detailed rhythms.
The postpartum doula leads Mom’s recovery, daytime support, and gentle newborn care during the NCS’s break.
A calm, unified presence is essential. Candidates who have worked in paired newborn care models or alongside NCS professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
Daily Rhythm:
The postpartum doula will join the household as soon as Mom is in labor, providing continuous support alongside the NCS. Each day, the doula will take over newborn care during the NCS’s six hour break to maintain consistency in feeding, soothing, diapering, and early sleep shaping.
The heart of this role is supporting Mom as she heals physically and emotionally. This includes protecting her rest, guiding her through postpartum recovery, offering grounding emotional support, assisting with personal care and travel preparations if needed, and handling light household tasks that reduce overwhelm.
Your goal is to create structure, reduce stress, and help Mom feel both centered and confident. All care will be aligned with the NCS’s nighttime rhythms to create a seamless, stable experience for both Mom and baby.
