Inside Their World:
A loving, thoughtful, and exceptionally organized first-time single mother in Moreland Hills, OH is preparing to welcome her newborn through IVF in July 2026. She is seeking a deeply experienced, confident, and emotionally steady Newborn Care Specialist to guide her and her baby through the first five months with expertise, compassion, and predictable rhythm.
Family Environment:
Mom is a single parent who will welcome her baby and her home reflects warmth, calmness, and a strong sense of organization. Life in the home follows clear routines that create a predictable and nurturing environment for the baby. Communication is thoughtful and straightforward. Professionals who are confident, meticulous, and reliable tend to feel very at home here.
The overall atmosphere is peaceful and supportive with an emphasis on wellness, healthy habits, and a calm daily rhythm. Mom also spends part of the year at her second home in India, so the caregiver should feel comfortable supporting a lifestyle that includes international travel and long stretches in a culturally rich environment. During her downtime, Mom enjoys spa days, travel, ocean-side calm, beautifully prepared meals, and peaceful daily rhythms. She values confidence, gentle leadership, and professionals who bring both expertise and grace into her home.
Who Thrives Here:
This role is ideal for a confident newborn care specialist who brings a calm, intuitive approach and naturally anticipates a newborn’s needs. The right candidate supports Mom through breastfeeding or bottle feeding with gentle guidance and partners seamlessly with the postpartum doula, bringing a collaborative and steady presence into the home.
The family values clear communication, emotional steadiness, and trusted expertise. Someone who is composed, thoughtful, and able to both lead and follow in a supportive way will fit beautifully.
This position is part of a two person newborn support team and requires someone who truly excels in a collaborative care model. The NCS will lead all newborn focused care, while the postpartum doula will support Mom’s physical recovery, emotional wellbeing, and household flow. The two roles work side by side with clear boundaries and shared respect, ensuring Mom feels supported and the newborn’s needs are consistently met. Candidates who have successfully worked in paired newborn care roles or alongside doulas in the past are strongly encouraged to apply. The family deeply values professionals who communicate openly, support one another, and maintain a calm, unified presence in the home.
Daily Rhythm:
The NCS will begin two weeks before the due date and be ready to step in the moment the baby arrives, working in harmony with the postpartum doula to provide immediate newborn support. Responsibilities include all aspects of newborn care, overnight and morning routines, bottle preparation and sterilization, baby laundry, nursery organization, and maintaining detailed logs of feeding, sleeping, and diaper patterns to help establish consistent rhythms from the start.
Mom values expertise and is comfortable following the NCS’s guidance on routines, sleep shaping, and newborn best practices. She wants someone who can confidently take the lead while keeping communication clear and supportive.
The family will spend most of the summer in Ohio, and once the baby is old enough to travel, they plan to spend time at their second home in India for extended stays. In Ohio, extended family will be present to support Mom and enjoy time together. They are seeking someone who is travel ready, comfortable joining the family on their adventures and helping them prepare for travel, and steady and supportive in the daily flow at home. A gracious team oriented attitude is essential, as the household includes relatives and additional staff, including a chef.
The position is live in, and the NCS will have a private bedroom and private bathroom inside the home.
