Location: Wayne, PA (Philadelphia Metro Area)

Children: Two Children (4 months old and 2.5 years old)
Pets: Two small dogs (no care required)
 
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (some flexibility of ±1 hour)
Compensation: $25–$30/hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 4-month-old infant and a 2.5-year-old toddler
    • Support daily routines, including feeding, nap times, diapering, and playtime
    • Maintain a safe, structured, and hygienic environment for the children
    • Engage in age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, and motor development
    • Prepare children’s meals and snacks as needed
    • Laundry and tidying related to children’s needs
    • No driving required
    • Maintain cleanliness in areas used by the children such as play areas and kitchen
    • Communicate proactively with parents regarding routines, milestones, and observations
    • Support family’s schedule and evolving childcare needs within the given hours

Ideal Candidate:

    • Significant hands-on experience with infants and young children (daily routines, feeding, naps, and developmental activities)
    • Strong knowledge of child development and ability to implement age-appropriate activities for cognitive, emotional, social, and motor skill growth
    • Reliable and punctual, consistently following schedules and routines
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing family needs and evolving schedules
    • Excellent communicator, able to collaborate with parents and provide clear updates
    • Organized and detail-oriented, maintaining structure, cleanliness, and consistency
    • Nurturing, patient, and emotionally intelligent, creating a warm and supportive environment for children
    • Committed to a long-term role, providing stability and continuity in care

Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4 years of professional childcare experience, including hands-on care for infants and toddlers (required)
    • Proven experience in private homes, with references from the past 3–5 years
    • CPR and First Aid certification required, or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire (required)
    • Optional: Early Childhood Education certification or related training
    • Legal U.S. citizen or valid work authorization/visa documentation
    • Minimum 21 years of age
    • Non-smoker
    • Ability to pass extensive criminal and background checks
    • Up-to-date vaccinations (TB, Tdap)
    • Comfortable working in a home with two dogs (no pet care required)
    • Willingness to commit to a minimum 1-year placement for long-term stability
