• Location: Scarsdale, NY, and Southampton, NY
• Ages of children: 19 months
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time rotational schedule of 1 week on/1 week off. The candidate will be responsible for baby monitors overnight while on rotation, and 24/7 on-call availability is required.
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $125k-$140k annually.
• Benefits: The family offers health and vision insurance, 401k matching, and a vehicle for professional use while on-duty.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-in while on rotation. A private bedroom and bathroom within the family’s homes will be provided.
• Other Notes: The family is prioritizing candidates who live within a weekly commutable (5-6 hour distance) to Scarsdale, NY.

Their daughter is naturally drawn to people who exude warmth and maintain consistent positive energy. Someone who genuinely enjoys being on the floor, playing outside, and fully engaging with their toddler will be a wonderful addition to their ROTA team. They also have dogs, so someone comfortable working in a dog-friendly home is a must!
• The family has been very involved in their daughter's life and has become passionate about researching and making decisions on their daughter's development and well-being. They value formal education and want to ensure their daughter has access to every opportunity she chooses to pursue later in her life! They split their time between Scarsdale and Southampton and enjoy traveling for a few weeks throughout the year. A travel-ready candidate who is supportive and confident in providing exceptional childcare while traveling will be a great fit!
• This is a fully-staffed home environment, so someone who is comfortable and confident working alongside others and respecting one another’s roles is essential.

The ideal candidate has a warm, intuitive approach to care, is open-minded and receptive to feedback, and is proactive in researching and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities while trusting the parents' guidance and instructions on care for their daughter. Someone who can create an interactive, educationally-minded environment where activities are thoughtfully designed to nurture their daughter’s interests and support her overall development. They also value someone who has invested in their own education by pursuing and earning a Bachelor's degree. This is an ideal role for nannies who are excited to work in a ROTA role, as the family is not requiring prior ROTA or fully-staffed home experience. Someone who is adaptable and eager to learn the family's dynamics, preferences, and approach will fit in well in this household and have the opportunity to learn a lot and grow their career!
• A detail-oriented, conscientious nanny will thrive in this well-organized, tidy household. This role is 100% childcare-focused without any typical family assistant duties, and the family is excited to meet candidates who are passionate about their work with children (candidates who prefer a more holistic role or doing chores / non-childcare tasks will not thrive in this household).
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, traveling with the family throughout the year, and working with a co-nanny to ensure orderly transitions.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
• Travel experience and willingness to travel a couple of weeks per year
• Tech-savvy and comfortable interfacing with a tech-forward home
• Dog-friendly!
• Demonstrated longevity in previous nanny or childcare roles
• Able to live-in while on duty and live-out while off duty
• Up to date on all vaccinations for the duration of employment (e.g. Tdap, MMR, TB, Flu) prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
