Family Syllabus: One of our amazing repeat clients is looking for an amazing nanny to spend their days with their sweet 2.5-year-old daughter! The mom is a professional who works outside of the home, and her schedule can change weekly. Her daughter likes to be read to, explore the outdoors, and attend her extracurricular classes weekly. The family also has a lab, so please love dogs! They will be relocating to San Juan Capistrano in early Spring 2026.
Ideal Candidate: This mom’s ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development and upcoming milestones. If you are organized, highly competent, intelligent, patient, kind, and reliable, this is the job for you! She would like a nanny who is a good communicator, a natural problem solver, collaborative, and proactive, yet able to follow directions and integrate feedback. A nanny who is creative with age-appropriate activities, enjoys narrating to the child, can give her daughter choices, and works as a team with mom will be the perfect fit. A nanny who can keep the child’s sleeping and play areas clean and tidy, take care of her daughter’s laundry, and prepare healthy meals for her daughter would be the perfect combination of skills! A college degree is preferred, but not required for this role; a deep understanding of child development is.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days learning and exploring with the brightest little girl! The schedule for this position is between 45-50 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 7:30 am and 8 pm, with flexibility to shift hours and/or stay late if the mother needs to work late or add a weekend day. This role is paying $40-45/hour gross with overtime, paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. The family will guarantee 45 hours per week. Duties for this position will be fully related to her daughter, including her laundry, preparing healthy meals and snacks, and keeping her room and play areas clean, organized, and tidy. Running occasional errands for mom and other organizational projects would also be greatly appreciated. Their daughter is on a great schedule already regarding sleeping and eating, and the family would like to continue this. She does not attend preschool yet, but the nanny creates fun learning activities each day. The family will travel occasionally, and Mom would love the nanny to travel with them. A reliable vehicle and a clean driving record are required for this position, and the mom will reimburse for mileage.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is up to date on the flu and Tdap vaccines.
