Inside Their World:
This returning Pink Nannies family previously partnered with a nanny for five years and is now seeking another warm, engaging, long term professional to become a steady and trusted presence in their children’s lives. They value genuine connection, consistency, and a caregiver who can thoughtfully meet each child where they are developmentally, emotionally, and in personality.
Their 11-year-old daughter is a confident, determined, and opinionated soon-to-be tween who thrives when she is busy and engaged. She enjoys a full schedule that includes horseback riding, basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse, along with spending time with friends.
Their soon to be 8 year old daughter is incredibly thoughtful and sweet, with a tender heart and big emotions she is still learning to navigate. She will flourish with a nanny who is emotionally attuned, patient, and skilled at helping children build regulation tools while providing reassurance.
Their soon to be 6 year old son is curious, talkative, and deeply affectionate. He is a joyful mix of silly and kind, with a love for building, tinkering, and hands-on projects.
Family Environment:
Mom and Dad are loving, intentional parents who lead with both structure and empathy. They believe in setting clear boundaries while also prioritizing repair and connection when it matters. Each child is supported in the way they need most, with parents who recognize that different personalities call for different approaches. One-on-one time with each child is a priority and an important part of their family dynamic.
They enjoy traveling, baking, playing outside, and settling in for family movie nights. Time with extended family and close friends is important to them. They also have a friendly 80-lb dog, so being comfortable around dogs is a must.
Who Thrives Here:
This role is ideal for a nanny who enjoys working with school-aged children, understands emotional development, and can balance structure with fun in a busy, loving household. Someone who can take initiative, stay grounded, and roll with the day when plans need to change. Warmth and appropriate affection should come naturally, helping the kids feel safe, supported, and truly understood. Punctuality and consistency are essential. Showing up on time, following through, and providing a reliable flow matter greatly to this family. They would love a caregiver who enjoys being creative, planning activities, and crafts that support both learning and emotional development. Spending time outdoors, exploring, and embracing a bit of adventure is a big plus. A background in education is strongly preferred, and experience with or training in Montessori principles would be especially valuable, as the youngest child is currently enrolled in a Montessori school.
The general schedule will be Monday & Thursday from 11 am to 6:30 pm, Tuesday from 11 am to 7 pm, Wednesday from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Friday from 11 am to 5 pm. Flexibility is key, and someone who can adjust with children’s evolving schedules and provide occasional weekends as needed is essential.
Daily Rhythm: In this role, the nanny will provide attentive, nurturing care for school-age children, engage in active outdoor and indoor play, assist them with homework if needed, and safely transport the children to and from school and other activities. The nanny will also help with light household tasks such as preparing meals and snacks for the kids, cleaning up after meals, doing their laundry, tidying up their common spaces, and organizing and decluttering their belongings. Additional tasks include running errands, supporting and planning child-related events, birthday parties, etc, grocery shopping and stocking, stocking craft elements, and providing pet care.
