Family Syllabus: This incredible family in San Francisco is looking for an exceptional local rotational nanny to help care for their three bright, energetic, inquisitive, and creative children, who are five and younger. The parents lead a dynamic lifestyle and work from inside and outside of the home. This is a fully staffed home with a housekeeper and chef who handle all the deep cleaning and dinner preparations! They have a property manager to handle the home maintenance. Please be a team player and be open to jumping in where needed! The family has a small dog, so please be comfortable with animals! Occasional walks and pet care will be required. 

Ideal Candidate: This sweet family’s dream nanny has years of experience caring for toddlers and preschool-age children, a great sense of humor, gratitude, and impeccable organizational skills. A nanny who has a pleasant disposition, an affinity for children, is extremely professional, has good moral character, and is emotionally intelligent will fit right into this family. They would love a nanny who is ready to be active and adventurous, and help their children with education as they grow!

A nanny who knows how to read a room and knows when to step in and out and be a true team player would be the perfect fit. Someone kind, excellent at communication, and well-informed would be exactly what is needed for this role. A nanny who is an excellent swimmer and comfortable being in the water with the children is a must! A nanny who is excellent at organizing spaces and assisting the family in keeping their household running smoothly would be a dream!

Job Synopsis: Spend your days engaging and exploring with the most inquisitive children. Duties will include getting the children ready for the day, taking and picking the children up from school and extracurricular activities, tidying up the children’s play areas, preparing the children’s meals, and keeping up with their laundry. Additional duties will include supporting the household with errands, organization, and making sure the home is stocked with all needed supplies!

The schedule for this position is a 1 week on and 1 week off rotation (non-negotiable), 6:30 am – 8:30 pm, with flexibility to stay later for date nights and events. This role will be live-in on rotation, with a private nanny suite. They are looking for local candidates or candidates who live in Northern California. The family is open to relocating candidates who have a real motivation to live and thrive in San Francisco! The family is not open to candidates who fly in and out for their shifts.

The pay for this role is $150k+ per year.  Paid sick days and a health insurance stipend are provided. The nanny will have Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day off! Traveling will be required for 3-4 weeks per year, so be ready to adventure with this amazing team! Overnights are expected, and you must be a safe and reliable driver. They will be providing a nanny vehicle, or you are welcome to use your own vehicle if that is your preference.

Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is vaccinated, and they have a preference for the flu shot, but it is not required.

Qualifications:

Local to San Francisco or excited to relocate

Five years of professional nanny experience

At least one year of prior ROTA experience

High-profile nanny experience

CPR/first aid certification

Excellent references
